We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our engineering teams in the development of medical devices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, product development, and AI integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Leadership: Lead and coordinate the activities of the four main engineering teams (Electronics, Mechanics, Software, Quality Engineering), ensuring effective integration across disciplines.
  • Product Development: Ensure that the engineering process of medical devices meets timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards, while promoting innovation and efficiency.
  • AI Integration: Oversee the optimal integration of AI software into medical devices by working closely with the software development team.
  • Compliance and Quality: Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to ensure all products comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate engineering resources, continuously monitoring performance and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Technological Innovation: Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that can enhance product quality and the company's competitiveness.
  • Leadership: Train, motivate, and develop talent within the engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for planning and managing the budget for engineering projects, with a focus on cost optimization and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in the medical device industry, preferably with a specialization in AI software integration.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of hardware and software technologies in the medical sector, with a strong focus on AI-based systems.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and leading complex projects.
