Electromagnetic Engineer

Civitanavi Systems, a leading player in the design, development, and manufacture of high-tech solutions for Navigation, Control, and Stabilization Systems, is seeking an Electromagnetic Engineer to join its EMC Power Supply team in the Porto Sant'Elpidio office.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and development of EMI filters to be embedded in the entire HW of an Inertial Navigation System. This opportunity is addressed to engineers with a background in Electromagnetics, Electronics, or equivalent scientific background.

• Analysis/Simulation of EMI filters
• Development of requirement flow down for all individual PCBA related to EMI/EMC
• Definition of EMC directives for HW and mechanical design activities
• Drafting of EMI/EMC qualification plans
• Support to Hardware Design Review
• Support to BD dept. in the phase of offer formulation
• Support to the definition of test plans, execution of test campaigns, and analysis of results

• Bachelor/master's degree in electronic engineering
• Knowledge of main EMI/EMC military and avionic standards: RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-461
• Knowledge of Electromagnetism fundamentals
• Consolidated knowledge in the use of simulation tools such as LTSpice
• Able to work autonomously and/or in a team
• Attitude to problem-solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints
• Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking (the knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
