Job Description

The Innovation Account Director plays a pivotal role in managing cutting-edge client collaboration projects and tech-based advertising campaigns from inception to delivery within a forward-thinking team that specializes in innovation, technology, and gaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead governance and ways of working within the creative innovation team, comprised of international talent, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Organize, coordinate, and orchestrate the team's time and project needs, matrix, and status, while effectively communicating these to team members.
  • Support and contribute project management and cross-organizational skills to pitch and new business development opportunities.
  • Communicate and coordinate with agency stakeholders within and outside the organization on local and global levels.
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Director to define and agree on internal scope of work within the team and lead this scope directly with key global clients and ecosystem partners.
  • Lead tech projects and campaign developments together with clients in a win-win collaborative approach, overseeing each step from brief to production and delivery, managing multiple suppliers, partners, and clients to ensure the best outcome and mitigate risks.
  • Compile estimates for agreed scopes of work, forecast resources needed for each project, and work closely with relevant teams to keep them updated and secure needed resources for project success.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope and time frame, managing ongoing changes and needs appropriately.
  • Lead and maintain quality, timing, budget, and financial status of all projects and campaigns.
  • Thrive on challenges and find new ways to solve them with a proactive, collaborative, and supportive team spirit.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven work experience combined of account management in an ad agency, with strong project management skills, and ideally working with a tech company (as a client) or directly for an innovation-led tech company.
  • 5+ years of experience in the advertising agency world is a must.
  • Demonstrate a proven experience in successfully working with creative and account teams implementing innovative solutions, managing end-to-end campaign and tech-related product streams, and working with different stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and developing end-to-end 360 communication strategies and campaigns for global brands and international clients (from brief to production and delivery).
  • Gained understanding of technology trends and product development processes, exposure to tech company culture, bringing an agile mindset and ways of working.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English is a must; speaking Italian and/or any additional languages is a plus.
  • Adaptable with strong project status and processes skillset, able to make use of relevant resources and tools.
  • Passionate go-getter, proactive thinker, and creative problem solver with an energetic "start-up" approach.
  • Curious about tech and innovation, constantly thinking about the next trend and cultural news in consumers' lives.
  • Knowledgeable about technologies used in digital development, comfortable holding conversations regarding technical processes, issues, and solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial, with a collaborative, supportive, and team-based approach, flexible mindset with an agile attitude.
  • Empathetic and friendly communicator with high communication skills.
