Cloud DevOps Engineer

CompuGroup Medical is seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to drive our technology plans forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage software and infrastructure release roll-out;
- Enhance and support a build framework for deploying applications.
- Support Agile development teams to ensure they have the necessary facilities to succeed.
- Drive best technology and software development practices into the team.
- Establish and run processes for on-going maintenance, monitoring, support, and security patching of a platform.
- Ensure continuous improvement within the team.
- Advocate and modernize services (performance, availability, OLA/SLA,...)
- Improve infrastructure development and application development.
- Stay up-to-date with main conferences, workshops, and in-house trainings.
- Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and CI/CD frameworks and scripting languages (preferably GitLab-CI)
- Good Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm
- Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills;
- Experience in usage of automation/configuration management platforms (Ansible, Terraform...)
- Experience in DevOps activities
- Knowledge of Relational databases administration and tuning (preferably Postgres Database)
- Python, GoLang and Shell scripting
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with immediate team members, other IT areas, and clients in other departments
- Windows/Linux server operative system administration and performance tuning
- Ability to identify operational issues, support and provide real time solutions for them making appropriate decision.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, from common features to data security solutions
- Self-organized, team player, proactive personality
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
