About The Role

About this opportunity

A seasoned Project Management professional is required to lead the delivery of high-profile real estate construction projects, encompassing new builds and refurbishments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management techniques and a deep understanding of national technical requirements applied to the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Business Unit Directors in driving business objectives and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Engage with customers and develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Deliver high-quality services and ensure that services meet customer requirements, adhering to contract administration best practices.
  • Administer contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent, or project manager, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present to customers, showcasing project progress and outcomes.
  • Develop and submit bids for services, leveraging expertise in project management and construction.
  • Manage service delivery for profit, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Advise directors promptly of any issues that may impact Gleeds' professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

Who we're looking for:

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

  • Proven experience in managing real estate construction projects in Italy
  • Strong knowledge of national technical requirements applied to the construction sector
  • Detailed knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Methodical approach to work and problem-solving
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills
  • Sound ICT skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Professional level of English and Italian languages

Qualifications

  • University degree in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
