Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Engineer to join our RD Modelling and Simulation team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing CFD heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics analysis at stack and system level.
• Defining and supporting experimental campaigns to validate models and designs.
• Predicting, collecting, analyzing, and reporting results by understanding system and component design and their requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Master's degree in energy, mechanical, aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in simulation of thermal and fluid-dynamics engineering or equivalent roles.
• Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics principles, and numerical simulation.
• Understanding of engineering design principles and processes in relevant sectors such as electrochemical devices, automotive, HVAC, or energy.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D CFD simulation software such as Star-CCM+ (preferred), Fluent, OpenFOAM, or equivalent.
