Senior Process Engineer in Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Sector (m/f/d)

Full-time As a seasoned process engineer, you will take charge of the development, design, and oversight of projects within the pharmaceutical sector. Your expertise in process engineering will be crucial as you tackle challenges and collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to guide a project team effectively.

You will oversee the technical execution and management of various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Execution of process design and calculations throughout different project phases Development of tender documentation and coordination with suppliers Creation of P&IDs Integration of customer specifications Project management and execution Commissioning of facilities Qualification and validation in accordance with GMP standards.

Depending on project demands and size, you will be expected to perform technical work in the process engineering domain (material and heat balances, PFD, P&IDs, EDS).

Candidate Profile

You hold a Master’s degree in chemical engineering and possess substantial experience in the pharmaceutical industry (over 5 years). You are capable of working autonomously while being part of a professional team. Your problem-solving and communication skills are strong; you are customer-focused and adept at conflict resolution.

Solid understanding of upstream and downstream processes, as well as cleaning and sterilization in place systems (SIP/CIP). Familiarity with c-GMP, ISPE, and FDA regulations. Previous experience in Biotechnology is considered a valuable asset.
