Electromagnetics Engineer

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetics Engineer to join its Space & Defence Division in Genova/Milan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and executing electromagnetic compatibility tests in accordance with civil, military, and aeronautical standards.

• Develop and execute electromagnetic compatibility tests in accordance with IEC, EN, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160 standards.
• Develop electromagnetic simulation models and analyze EMC/E3 requirements.
• Prepare test plans, test procedures, and test reports with impact analysis in terms of design and installation.
• Monitor and execute EMC qualification tests and/or measurements in Italy and abroad.
• Interact with other disciplines such as safety, system engineering, and design areas.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Good knowledge of electromagnetism, electronics, and electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of E3 issues at both the apparatus and platform level, and applicable standards MIL-STD-464C, MIL-STD-461G, and RTCA/DO-160G.
• Knowledge of main electromagnetic simulation tools, such as CST and FEKO, and post-processing tools like Matlab.
• Experience or involvement in national/international programs in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.
