Job Title: Electrical Transfer Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Transfer Technician to join our team at BOTTERO S.p.A. in the reference department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing wiring activities on machines, resolving anomalies or faults, and performing testing and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage wiring activities on machines and resolve any anomalies or faults;
  • Test and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance;
  • Configure automation components, including drives, network switches, and machine PCs;
  • Install and maintain machinery and systems at customer sites;
  • Coordinate local workers for site activities and provide training to external technicians;
  • Conduct first start-ups of plants and supervise operations;
  • Draft technical reports on testing activities and interface with internal and external entities.
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Electronic/Electrotechnical Technical/professional school degree;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in the Industrial Automation sector;
  • Good ability to read electrical diagrams and experience in testing and wiring switchboards;
  • Knowledge of automation elements, including inverters, drives, and motors;
  • Collaborative and operational approach, with ability to interface with various internal and external entities;
  • Willingness to travel abroad frequently, including outside Europe (approximately 150 days/year);
  • Knowledge of English language (level B1, better if B2) for communication with foreign customers and training of external technicians;
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Outlook, Excel).
