Postdoctoral Scientist

Job Opportunity:

IRCCS Istituto Clinico Humanitas is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Innate Immunity in Inflammation and Cancer Lab led by Dr. Sebastien Jaillon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Pursuing the program of work agreed with the Group Leader.
• Designing and executing experiments.
• Establishing procedures and developing new approaches; acquiring new skills.
• Maintaining accurate records of experiments and reagents.
• Preparing and presenting work at and attending weekly laboratory meetings.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

PhD in immunology, cancer biology or related fields is required. Solid background in immunology and familiarity with cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, and standard mouse work is essential. Experience in immune profiling of cancer samples and mouse handling is highly desirable.

Preferred Candidate Requirements:

Familiarity with mouse cancer models, single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, flow cytometry, tissue culture, and data analysis is an advantage. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and a team player with excellent written and spoken English is required. Collaborative skills and ability to learn new skills are also highly valued.
