About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Albelissa, a leading company in the biomedical sector. As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to our manufacturing shop floors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement process to increase profitability and optimize supplying time
- Coordinate inventories of stored items and correct discrepancies
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and activities
- Manage different transactions in the ERP system
- Prepare and follow up on plans for production and suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal levels are maintained
- Supervise procurement activities and finalize purchasing processes
- Define replenishment plans, reorder processes, and support transportation definition
- Interface with SQE Organization and monitor supplier performances
- Design, propose, and implement action plans for optimization of Incoming and Procurement processes
- Manage customer orders for raw materials inspected and delivered by CRM
- Supervise RM Warehouse to ensure feeding of manufacturing shop floors in accordance with production plans
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Economics or Engineering Degree
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- SAP knowledge
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
