Responsibilities
  • Planning, scheduling, and giving maximum priority to Depot Maintenance activities.
  • Timing them as the first goal.
  • Reporting Depot maintenance activities status and following up.
  • Keeping production teams informed about scheduled time slots.
  • Interfacing between maintenance team leaders, retrofit teams, engineering teams, and all kinds of external company teams.
  • Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities on all trains in the workshop according to fixed time slots during planning meetings.
  • Keeping a general and updated overview about crucial spare parts availability.
  • Being informed about workshop infrastructure status, especially about needed special tools to carry out maintenance activities.
  • Checking production team workload under control to ensure the best possible saturation.
  • Verifying compliance with time slots planned for all ordinary maintenance train cycle and scheduled departure and arrival times in the Depot.
  • Checking and reporting all delay reasons.
  • Translating production and commercial service issues into working orders.
  • Bringing into default planning items special requests coming from project teams and scheduling them using SAP systems.
  • Reporting all cumulated delays and root causes of them.
  • Analyzing delaying issues to better perform in similar future circumstances.
  • Interfacing with the Supply Chain team.
  • Using Indus evaluation KPI to check and optimize production workload on shift, according to scheduled planning.
  • Attending any extraordinary planning meeting to face contingency.
  • Creating and releasing notifications and service orders related to corrective activities and preventive ones, if required.
  • Optimizing fleet maintenance planning based on availability KPI targets and identifying possible backup solutions when needed to reach the target.
  • Measuring and monitoring planning efficiency and proposing continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in process supervision/management and production environment.
  • Previous experience in planning (railway or airway or production).
  • Strong maintenance process knowledge.
  • Work experience in ECM management, railways, and train systems instruction/knowledge, ECM rules knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Good IT skills, especially SAP (CS/PM modules) and Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Flexibility in daily work and resilience in critical situations.
  • Ability to make decisions, sense of urgency: sets priorities and reacts immediately when confronted with a problem.
  • Good knowledge of English and Local Language.
