Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Information Technology Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Army. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Division, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for the implementation and maintenance of our Cybersecurity Information Technology (IT) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the Communications Security (COMSEC) policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with National Security Agency, DoD, and US Army standards.
  • Provide COMSEC support for real-world contingency operations, exercising, adapting, and disseminating COMSEC policy and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accreditation of the Local COMSEC Key Management Infrastructure and COMSEC Accounting Registration Packet.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the cybersecurity awareness and skills of our personnel.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture.
Requirements
  • Must have a Top Secret with SCI security clearance or be eligible for one.
  • Must have a valid regular or official U.S. Passport.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain IT certification standards for IAT Level II within six months of hire.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information assurance, or cybersecurity.
  • Must have at least one year of experience in a related field, with a focus on cybersecurity and IT systems.
