Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our target customer and property employees.
  • Provide financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of our brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.
  • Create and execute a business plan that is aligned with the property and brand's business strategy and focuses on the execution of financial and accounting activities and the delivery of desirable financial results.
Requirements
  • Must be degree level
  • Must be fluent in Italian and English
  • Must have hotel experience
Core Work Activities
  • Engage in strategic planning and decision making to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities, etc.
  • Analyze information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
  • Compile information, analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales.
  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Think creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new business plans.
Leadership and Management
  • Lead and participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of common goals while fostering cohesion and collaboration among team members.
  • Drive for results, focusing and guiding others in accomplishing work objectives.
  • Plan and organize, gathering information and resources required to set a plan of action for self and/or others.
Financial Expertise
  • Have knowledge of PL statements, operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling, and the reporting of financial data.
  • Be able to recognize, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data, and create flow charts on main accounting and control cycles (A/R, AP, Cash) to facilitate understanding of key control points.
  • Have knowledge of general accounting principles and current company accounting policies and procedures.
