Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based systems to support our subscription management, payment processing, and related services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance enhancements and scalability improvements, ensuring our systems remain secure, efficient, and reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, production-ready APIs, database models, and schemas for core applications
  • Contribute to the design of cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Write and review high-quality, maintainable code that aligns with long-term business needs
  • Support fellow engineers through collaboration, documentation, unit testing, and peer reviews
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to identify performance enhancements and scalability improvements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Ruby
  • Proficiency in cloud product development, including schema design, data modeling, and optimization
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or Grape, and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB) for cloud application development
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for reliable and efficient deployments
  • Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL principles, with familiarity in API scalability and WebSockets
  • Problem-solving attitude and willingness to contribute to projects that support Malwarebytes' success
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including employee referral bonuses, wellness programs, and opportunities for growth and development.
