Operations Scheduling Analyst

We are seeking a Production Planning Specialist who will report directly to the Planning Manager in Italy. This role will be based at our operational site and will involve close collaboration with production supervisors, shift coordinators, and supply chain teams to develop and oversee production schedules that align with capacity, timelines, and the availability of machinery and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop production workflows by estimating time, resources, and equipment usage, and formulate daily production schedules accordingly.
• Track the actual production progress against planned schedules and implement necessary corrective measures while coordinating teams and managing shift schedules.
• Assess the manpower, equipment, and raw materials required to meet production targets and allocate staff to specific production tasks.
• Compile and analyze statistics related to production efficiency (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement in processes and planning.
• Prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
• Ensure that jobs are completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Address any issues that arise to minimize disruptions in production.
• Gather output data (such as finished product counts and defect rates) and prepare performance reports.
• Collaborate with quality assurance, warehouse, and other operational teams.
• Engage in the optimization of production processes.

Required Competencies:

• A degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Management Engineering) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
• Fluency in English is required.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
