Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HMI & UX Engineer to join our team at Bertrandt. As an HMI & UX Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centered interfaces for our automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HMI concepts for in-vehicle displays and switches
  • Create UI/UX designs for new functionalities on infotainment, instrument cluster, and head-up display
  • Design and develop wireframes and HMI flows for early project stages
  • Produce technical documentation using requirement engineering methodologies
  • Document concept and development analysis, feasibility reports, and CAD data analysis
  • Maintain specifications and documentation
  • Perform bug fixes and HMI preference checks
  • Document new HMI content and simulator reports
  • Present concept studies and SW tracking plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design according to automotive regulations
  • Knowledge of HMI development software (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of software development process (v-cycle)
  • Knowledge of HMI prototyping tools
  • Knowledge of CAN communication protocols and diagnostic tools
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Canalyzer, and CANoe
  • Fluency in English language
  • Driving license B
