About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dermatology Specialist to join our team at Buscojobs España. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

Job Description
  • Company Overview: Our company is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community, with a focus on dermatological conditions.
  • Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around €100,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their medical history and skin-related concerns.
    • Perform physical examinations focused on dermatological issues.
    • Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as biopsies or skin cultures.
    • Diagnose various skin conditions, including but not limited to dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, and infectious diseases.
    • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, which may involve medications, topical treatments, minor surgical procedures, or referrals to specialists.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists in internal medicine, oncology, or surgery, to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions.
    • Referring patients to specialized dermatologists or other healthcare providers when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.
    • Embracing and utilizing telemedicine platforms to provide remote consultations and follow-ups.
  • Requirements:
    • Medical Degree: Completion of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school or university.
    • Residency Training in Dermatology: Completion of a specialized residency training program in dermatology accredited by a recognized medical board or authority.
    • Board Certification or Equivalent Qualification: Board certification in dermatology from a recognized medical board, such as the American Board of Dermatology (ABD), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), or an equivalent international board.
    • Valid Medical License: Possession of a valid and unrestricted medical license issued by a recognized medical authority permitting the practice of dermatology.
    • Clinical Experience: Substantial clinical experience as a dermatology specialist, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
