About the Role

Gauzy, a world-leading material science company, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead projects with top partners in the industry of windows and partitions glazing, and to create new leads and business opportunities in the office design industry.

This position will enable you to develop your expertise in the expanding industry of windows, partitions, and smart design for offices and to manage key accounts technology projects while working in an entrepreneurial start-up company.

Gauzy's Architecture Business Unit brings our diverse smart glass products to built environments, redefining how privacy, shading, and digital displays are experienced in the spaces we spend our time most.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Being the point of contact for existing customers in Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Benelux, and Scandinavia, including Iceland.
  • Working closely together with the partner network in the area, both Retrofit and Glass Processors.
  • Finding new opportunities, especially complete LCG (glass) projects.
  • Keeping Salesforce up-to-date for the market area.
  • Ensuring that all customer orders are following procedure.
  • Liaising with European team members, the technical department, project management, and marketing.
  • International travel will be required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Years of experience in managing large office development projects in the office design industry.
  • BSc or MSc in interior design/architecture or a similar degree or certification from a previous workplace indicating significant field experience - Advantage.
  • Experience in the commercial partitions industry.
  • Some experience in the Smart Glass Industry - Advantage.
  • Deep understanding of the office design industry and motivation to acquire new leads in that industry and different industries as well.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision to produce great results with high ROI.
  • You can work under pressure, be self-driven, be flexible, and be a fast learner.
  • Ability to present projects on C-Level - Must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great communication, presentation, and strategic planning skills are required.
  • Proficient in English - Must, Italian, and French - Advantage.
