Lead Auditor ICT Job Description

The Lead Auditor ICT is a key role within DNV Business Assurance Italy, responsible for leading audit teams in performing audits and assessments according to DNV standards and protocols. This position requires a strong understanding of international standards and methodologies, as well as excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular auditing field activities and manage client relationships with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ensure the efficient and competent execution of work as required by instructions and the Quality System.
  • Plan and execute audits, report findings, and follow up as necessary within agreed timescales and economic frameworks.
  • Maintain high morale by contributing to a positive work environment and acting as a team player.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel and ensure effective communication with line management and audit team members.
  • Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Lead Auditor on MSC-related schemes (ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 27001 and/or ISO 20000).
  • Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English language.
  • Demonstrated evidence of excellent communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build good relationships with customers and coordinate and manage an auditor team.
  • Strong and proven attitude to auditing, including mobility, flexibility, working under pressure, respect of deadlines, and relations with clients.
  • Ability to handle basic software programs and IT tools.
  • Highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
