Job Summary:
Red Bull Formula 1 Team is seeking an experienced Gearbox Mechanic to join our team. As a Gearbox Mechanic, you will be responsible for the preparation, testing, and service of car gearboxes. You will work closely with the Test Team to ensure that all factory procedures are followed and respected. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and competitive environment, where you will be able to lead innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare car gearboxes for testing and service
Ensure that factory procedures are followed and respected
Work closely with the Test Team to achieve project goals
Communicate effectively with external groups
Execute day-to-day tasks and provide feedback to direct Manager
Requirements:
Automotive experience as a mechanic, ideally in motorsport
Proven mechanical experience with gearbox components
Ability to adapt work rhythm to rapidly changing situations and targets
Ability to scope all tasks thoroughly
Deliver timely information and reporting
Initiative and innovation
Ability to work with the team, external suppliers, and colleagues
Italian language is a must, English is highly recommended
