Education Assistant

Collier Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team. As an Education Assistant - Special Needs, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of planned education programs and promoting a supportive and productive learning environment.

• Assist teaching staff in the delivery of education programs and provide support to students with special needs.
• Contribute to the development of education programs, including special education and therapy programs.
• Provide advice and evaluation to teachers and other professionals in the implementation and evaluation of education programs.
• Assist with the general health and well-being of students.

• Effective written and oral communication skills, including report writing and the ability to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a professional team.
• Ability to assist professionals in the implementation and evaluation of education programs.
• Knowledge and understanding of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents.
• Effective organisational skills and the ability to deliver effective education programs.
