Sustainability Analyst

Davines Italia spa is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the sustainability of products and packaging through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis aiming to reduce environmental impact.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in scientific subjects such as Environmental Science or similar. They should possess knowledge of packaging materials sustainability attributes and eco-design rules, as well as solid experience with LCA methodology, LCA software (Simapro preferred), and related certification schemes. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze technical documents in the packaging design phase to identify materials and packaging items with the lowest environmental impact.
- Perform LCA of finished products.
- Manage sustainability data of all packaging materials in ERP system.
- Elaborate and share periodic reports related to packaging sustainability KPIs.
- Collaborate in defining corporate objectives relating to packaging sustainability.
- Collaborate in identifying and executing specific projects to support company goals to reduce environmental impact of packaging and create cross-industrial networking.
- Collaborate in drafting communication materials by providing technical content related to environmental impact of packaging.
- Inspire, motivate, support, and guide all departments, particularly marketing, towards packaging sustainability issues.
Estimated Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 per year
