We are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our Industrial & Engineering Technology team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a Welding Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing innovative welding techniques and procedures to enhance the competitiveness of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement welding techniques, procedures, and equipment to solve complex fabrication problems.
- Conduct research and development investigations to develop and test new fabrication processes and procedures.
- Develop and apply Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis to optimize welding processes.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate research findings and recommendations.
- Establish and maintain welding procedures and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
- Proven experience in welding engineering with a strong background in materials science and engineering principles.
- International Welding Engineer/Technologist certification is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
