In Italy, SMS group S.p.A. boasts over 500 employees across three locations, including Tarcento, San Donato Milanese, and Genoa. With extensive technical expertise, the company excels in creating innovative, turnkey solutions such as hot and cold rolling mills for flat products, process lines, reheating furnaces, heat treatment lines, rolling mills for long products, meltshops, and continuous casting machines.
Our Metallurgy Center of Excellence is seeking a
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design of unit processes;
- Assistance in sales initiatives;
- Contribution to the development of control systems;
- Leadership in start-up and commissioning activities;
- Management and enhancement of technical documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and contractual obligations;
- Support for various company functions in plant certification processes and management of related documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven expertise in steel production processes;
- A technical degree in a relevant field is preferred;
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of German is a plus);
- Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
