We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Data Engineer to join our Digital Data Intelligence team in Milan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining digital data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement digital data flows to meet business reporting requirements
  • Develop data ingestion pipelines to import data from external and internal sources into BigQuery
  • Implement data transformation workflows to ensure data quality and standardization
  • Write SQL queries to transform data according to business logics
  • Maintain data ingestion pipelines and transformation workflows, coordinating with the data engineering support team
  • Administer Google Cloud Platform projects related to data ingestion and transformation, focusing on cost optimization

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or computer science
  • 3-5 years of Python development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and SQL queries
  • Experience working with GIT in a collaborative team setting
  • Google Cloud Platform certification preferred
  • Proficiency in English

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about Python coding and coding best practices
  • Has strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts
