Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trim Engineer to join our team and support an important customer in the Automotive sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Technical responsibility for product development and technical content
  • Technical interface to Customer, Supplier, and internal departments
  • Leading design content and technical solutions
  • Reading and understanding Customer specifications
  • Creating DFMEA for new products
  • Leading product change management and control per Engineering and Organization procedures
  • Creating design requests and following up design work
  • Creating and updating Bill of material
  • Preparing and presenting technical presentations
  • Preparing and running design reviews
  • Supporting Test/FEA matrix
  • Analyzing FEA results and defining design changes
  • Analyzing test results and defining design changes
  • Creating and implementing VA/VE proposals
  • Supporting manufacturing PFMEA

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's Degree in Engineering
  • High-level expertise and proficiency with Catia or similar tools
  • Experience with DFMEA
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English
