As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing categories of non-production related spend, driving cost savings, and improving efficiency across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Execute Indirect Procurement Strategies: Develop and execute indirect procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels across assigned categories.
  2. Market Research and Supplier Selection: Perform market research to understand industry trends, identify potential suppliers, and assess supplier capabilities. Lead the supplier selection process, including conducting RFPs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations.
  3. Supplier Relationship Management: Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, contract management, and issue resolution.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement procurement best practices.
  5. Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to implement sourcing strategies and supplier transitions.
  6. Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on category performance, including savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
  7. Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master's degree or an advanced certification such as CIPS or CPSM is a plus.
  2. Experience: Proven experience (min 5 years) in procurement, sourcing, or a similar role, with a focus on indirect spend.
  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
  4. Soft Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP, IFS, TEAMS or similar.
