IM Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Coordinator to join our team at Wärtsilä. As an ICT Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing local ICT projects and changes, overseeing IM operations, and ensuring cost efficiency at the local level.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the local IM/ICT contact person for the entire Italy region.
2. Act as an IM consultant to determine the best IM services for specific needs.
3. Manage local ICT projects/changes from beginning to end with central teams and local providers.
4. Act as the escalation contact for unresolved or long-standing helpdesk tickets.
5. Ensure Service Level Agreements (internal & external) are met and check cost efficiency of ICT spending.
6. Serve as the first point of contact for the Wärtsilä Italy management team for ICT-related inquiries and complaints.
7. Continuously monitor and document the performance, quality, and cost efficiency of delivered ICT services.
8. Approve invoices for the Wärtsilä Italy ICT cost center.
9. Handle and support local ICT-related systems, infrastructure, and contracts.
10. Supervise the Area ICT contacts in Italy.

Requirements

1. Strong experience in IM/ICT management.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalations efficiently.
3. Proven track record in managing ICT projects and changes from inception to completion.
4. Proficiency in English at B2 (Upper Intermediate) or C1 (Advanced) level is required.
5. Ability to monitor, document, and report on ICT services' performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
6. Strong ICT knowledge (Networking, Servers, etc.).
7. Experience with vendor management and handling ICT-related contracts and systems.
8. Strong communication skills, capable of working with both central teams and local providers.
9. Readiness to travel as required for the role, approximately 5-10% of the time.
