About the RoleThe QC Investigator is responsible for investigating and completing laboratory investigations and non-conformances. This includes identifying root causes, assessing potential impact, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Your Key Responsibilities- Assist in determining the validity of data and out-of-specification results.
- Author laboratory investigation reports and non-conformances related to QC testing.
- Gather data, observe testing for investigations, and interview employees in the QC laboratories.
- Perform root-cause analysis using investigation tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
- Assign and implement corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) to resolve and prevent recurrence of events.
- Resolve conflicts and complex problems in a cross-functional setting while meeting timelines for closure of exception events.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A scientific degree and/or technical background in a similar role.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical QC testing operations and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent meeting facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong technical writing capability.
- Action-oriented and compliant-minded while performing investigations.
- Proficient in Italian and good knowledge of English.
- Team player mindset and good communication skills.
