Senior Microscopy Core Facility Manager

The Mechanobiology Institute at the National University of Singapore seeks a highly skilled professional to lead its advanced core imaging facility featuring 20+ optical microscopy systems. As Senior Microscopy Core Facility Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff members with varying levels of expertise in operating and maintaining instruments, as well as strategic planning for upgrades and procurement.

This role requires expert knowledge in diverse and cutting-edge imaging modalities and image analysis, strong hands-on experience in optical alignments, and the application of imaging technologies to biomedical research. A relevant publication track record and experience in managing a team of technical experts or in research-support facilities with an academic focus are highly desirable.

As part of the management team, you will work closely with Principal Investigators on specific research projects and funding applications, actively coordinate with SINGASCOPE, and regularly liaise with the MBI Faculty Advisory Committee. You will also organize workshops on the latest microscopy techniques and their applications.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - 150,000 SGD per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a five-year contract starting ASAP.
