**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Hs Mittweida. As a key member of our accounting and financial reporting function, you will play a critical role in providing support for our IFRS 17 consolidated reporting, financial accounting, and financial board reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Preparation of annual and semi-annual audited consolidated financial statements, unaudited quarterly consolidated statements or accounts, and other required filings, with a focus on IFRS 17 data.
  • Support in defining, developing, and updating the Group data model, including the group accounting manual and related guidelines, chart of accounting, reporting hierarchies, and data validations, with a focus on IFRS 17 matters.
  • Preparation of reports to the GCFO and Board on the Group's IFRS 17 KPIs.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for academic studies in the financial sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Business Statistics, with specialization in the insurance sector, may also be considered.
  • Elementary knowledge of general accounting and IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite application.
  • Ability to work in a team, ambitious attitude, and good communication skills.
