Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Communications Engineer to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced RF communication systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and technicians on RF communication systems.
  • System Design and Implementation: Design and implement advanced RF communication systems, including satellite communications, baseband equipment, and network systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain complex RF communication systems, including satellite communications, baseband equipment, and network systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and delivery of RF communication systems.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to junior engineers and technicians on RF communication systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in RF communication systems, including satellite communications, baseband equipment, and network systems.
  • Skills: Intimate knowledge of fleet communications systems and architectures, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and experience with training and development.
  • Certifications: IAT2 certification and vendor training in one operating system (Cisco, Linux, or Windows).

Clearance: Top Secret clearance required.
