Job Description

Openjobmetis Filiale di L'Aquila is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, in compliance with international regulations and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor quality management systems in accordance with international standards (ISO, BRC, IFS, HACCP, etc.).
  • Coordinate quality control activities throughout the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Supervise the application of food safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and certifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve any quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality records and prepare detailed reports on analysis results.
  • Develop and conduct training programs on quality and food safety for personnel.
  • Ensure that suppliers meet quality and safety requirements through regular audits and continuous monitoring.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Production departments to improve processes and products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in Quality Assurance roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of international regulations and standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, IFS).
  • Experience in managing internal and external audits and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Autonomy, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Fluent knowledge of the Italian language, both written and spoken.
