About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center CSA Manager to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for managing the design evolution, procurement strategy definition, and construction coordination for our data center projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage CSA design evolution, procurement strategy definition, and process promotion for all vendors related to construction coordination and follow-up until commissioning is granted.
  • Direct interlocutor with customers to raise risks and possible mitigations or solutions.
  • Define, coordinate, and manage planning, economics, quality, and health & safety for CSA and related equipment.
  • Coordinate OFCI activities related to CSA.
  • Develop project management plans, strategies, procedures, and communications.
  • Develop process and purchasing strategies, and manage project and/or construction packages tender.
  • Suppliers selection and customer presentation.
  • Preparation of technical dossiers for tender, reception of offers, realization of comparative analysis, and issuance of award recommendations.
  • Organization of regular work monitoring meetings.
  • Management and moderation of meetings with stakeholders.
  • Preparation of minutes of meetings and periodic reports.
  • Cost control, planning, change orders, and billing follow-up.
  • Management and control of the commissioning of works.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Experience in construction management of critical infrastructures like hospitals or data centers (5MW minimum) or oil & gas plants for at least 5 years.
  • 10-year experience in the construction sector (projects and construction works).
  • Essential knowledge of laws and regulations related to building construction.
  • Analysis capacity for risk detection and ability to search and propose solutions.
  • Leadership capacity to achieve objectives and milestone compliance.
  • Collaborative and team worker.
  • Good communication and management skills of multidisciplinary work teams.
  • Experience in dealing with customers for reporting and decision-making.
  • Essential good level of spoken and written English and Italian.
  • Good level of use of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Project/Primavera, TCQ/Presto, BIM 360.
  • Experience in companies with hierarchical structures and internal procedures.
  • Organized in analysis, structured in reporting, and transmission of information.
