Housing Referral Assistant

This role involves providing housing assistance to military personnel, their families, and eligible Department of Army civilians in locating off-post housing in the Solbiate Olona area. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a working relationship with housing managers, real estate agencies, and private property landlords.
• Developing and updating an automated listing of available houses and apartments.
• Providing counseling and assistance on off-post housing to eligible personnel.
• Assisting in obtaining suitable housing, considering various factors.
• Ensuring facilities meet Department of Army standards.

Additional duties include:

• Receiving and resolving complaints from off-post residents.
• Interviewing incoming personnel and processing applications for off-post housing.
• Explaining standard government housing contracts.
• Preparing Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) authorization documents.

Fluency in the English language, both oral and written, is required. A valid Italian driver's license type 'B' and the ability to obtain a Government (SETAF) driver's license are also necessary. The incumbent must be able to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting heavy weights.

Key Requirements:

• 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the U-05 grade level.
• Fluency in English and Italian languages.
• Valid Italian driver's license type 'B' and ability to obtain a Government (SETAF) driver's license.
