About the Role:
Knet Human Resources S.R.L. is a leading recruitment consultancy specializing in the executive, top, and senior management areas. We are partnered with a prominent company in the metallurgical engineering sector, seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the position of Automation Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions, primarily focusing on software development for controlling plant operations. This includes the takeover of programming Lev1 software and associated tests, as well as functional commissioning at the customer's premises. The candidate will also participate in and lead meetings with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistical Sciences is required. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA, S7-400) and programming languages such as C, C++, and C#. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. Proficiency in platforms for HMI system development, such as Siemens SIMATIC WinCC, is also necessary.
