Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Rome, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing suppliers' relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

About the Role

The Procurement Manager for Indirect Purchases will lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and managing supplier performance
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best procurement practices
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in indirect procurement related to operations
  • A structured and data-driven approach, people management, continuous improvement perspective, and ability to manage internal stakeholders effectively
  • An engineering or economic degree, excellent competencies in MS Excel and Powerpoint, team management, negotiations skills, effective presentation and public speaking abilities
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
