Kenvue, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Improvement Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Process Improvement Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our production operations and driving efficiency across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Support production teams in identifying and resolving machinability issues, analyzing problems related to packaging materials, and utilizing measuring instruments to optimize processes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and provide technical support to drive process enhancements, track performance, and analyze deviations.
- Implement and sustain performance control systems, define and lead kaizen groups, and coordinate action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement new processes, researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality, and capability alternatives, and performing process characterization and optimization using designed experiments and problem-solving tools.
- Define productivity projects and associated investments, creating feasibility reports and calculating profitability and payback.
- Participate in comprehensive engineering activities to develop and implement effective, high-quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination throughout the organization.
- Implement equipment, materials, and process performance requirements, perform vendor searches and equipment evaluation to ensure adequate capability to produce quality products in required quantities at an effective cost.
- Facilitate experiments and capability studies, develop process specifications, and design and procure process tools.
- Evaluate and advise on the selection of suitable equipment for optimized, balanced line performance.
- Analyze new systems and equipment to achieve continuous improvement of present methods.
- Edit and publish process documentation and training materials for processes, materials, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Preferable knowledge in Lean manufacturing.
- Preferable knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma/5S methodology is highly recommended.
- Upper-intermediate in English.
- Proven knowledge in MS Office package.
