What is the Digital & Analytics Practice?
The Data & Analytics division is a specialized unit within Oliver Wyman, initially established in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has since expanded throughout Europe, including cities like Milan, Berlin, Madrid, and Athens. This practice is a vibrant, rapidly growing team of quantitative analytics experts. We collaborate closely with our colleagues across Oliver Wyman to maintain a global presence, working across various sectors including, but not limited to, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, and Transportation.
Clients engage us for our profound insights and expertise; expertise that stems from our specialization. We blend analytical precision with an unwavering focus on client impact. The Italian team has expanded to over 50 professionals, encompassing a range of quantitative skills from Analysts to Directors. We are seeking Entry Level Graduates eager to embark on a career in quantitative analytics. Responsibilities
Internships at Oliver Wyman offer a genuine glimpse into the life of a consultant and provide unique preparation for a full-time position. Throughout your internship, you will engage in challenging projects that significantly influence clients, industries, and societies. You will be an integral team member, responsible for a specific aspect of work that contributes to delivering transformative impact. As part of your project team, you will collaborate with colleagues at all levels and clients globally to tackle complex issues and drive meaningful change. You will acquire essential business skills, including structuring your daily tasks effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing hypotheses, managing data collection, creating models and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively addressing information limitations, presenting insights, and supporting project delivery.Why Choose Us?

Candidates should be students or recent graduates with a master's degree in a quantitative field (preferably Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences, or Quantitative Finance). Proficiency in advanced analytics and data manipulation software such as SAS, R, SQL, Matlab, or Python is essential. Excellent command of both Italian and English is required. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are crucial. Ability to work independently and under limited supervision while adhering to defined timelines. Capacity to devise innovative, practical, and flexible solutions to business challenges. Proficiency in effectively presenting results, potential issues, and implications. Ability to manage a substantial workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Willingness to travel occasionally. Candidates must be aged 18 or over at the start of the internship. Applicants should be Italian residents or possess the right to work in Italy.
