At JR Italy, we are seeking a seasoned Cloud Technical Leader to drive our ERP Platform migration project forward.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.

About the Role

  • We are looking for someone who can oversee the migration of our existing IBMi (AS/400) platform to a modern cloud-based infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in defining and executing migration strategies that ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • They must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration process are crucial, and the right person should be well-versed in ensuring these aspects are met.
  • Risks associated with migration and integration must be identified and mitigated by this individual.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development and infrastructure teams is also essential.
  • Ongoing optimization of cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency is key to success in this role.

Your Background

We require a candidate with a strong educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

A proven track record of successful IBMi (AS/400) system migration and experience with modernizing legacy applications is necessary.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are vital.

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are also required.
