At Edenred, we're looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about cloud computing and wants to be part of a dynamic and multicultural environment.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for evaluating the infrastructure of technological systems in transformation projects that involve the use of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). They will supervise Global Technology and Security standards to guarantee the functioning of cloud infrastructures and services, making the necessary corrections to the necessary services.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of prior working experience in Cloud Services, preferably Azure and AWS. They should be certified in Azure (AZ-104 and AZ-400) and AWS Cloud Practitioner & Solution Architect Associate. Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and IaC (Terraform) is also required.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will assess and recommend cloud-native services as part of a continuous improvement environment, liaising with the architect and developers' team to ensure the integrity of the solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and help accelerate company transformation projects in the cloud;
  • Contributing to the Cloud team standards, identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools and standards;
  • Creating and testing IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform and delivering projects maintaining deadlines;
  • Collaborating with different project teams including Applications, Testing and Security to define and deliver the required on-cloud (AWS, Azure) capability for a given project/initiative;
  • Contribute to improving team culture by promoting transparency, openness, knowledge sharing and actively looking to help other members of the team with support where necessary;
  • Contribute to building a team culture and to help troubleshoot day-to-day issues within the team and also to provide support to other teams where possible;
  • Supporting the supplier during deployment, test ensuring security best practices within the cloud environment;
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation about terraform modules, projects, and customer onboarding;
  • Creation and maintenance of highly secure, high-availability, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years prior working experience in Cloud Services, preferably Azure and AWS;
  • Certified Azure (AZ-104 and AZ-400);
  • Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner & Solution Architect Associate;
  • Experience of working with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS etc.;
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform). Creating and managing cloud infrastructure using terraform modules;
  • Experience with Git. Managing code check-in, code reviews and maintaining a standardised repository structure;
  • Experience of creating and managing cloud native CI/CD pipelines preferably containerised micro services using docker, ECS;
  • Experience with configuration management tools preferably Ansible;
  • Experience with one, or more, of the following: Java, Python, Go or Scripting (Groovy/Shell);
  • Experience working in DevOps and with Agile mindset;
  • Cloud migration and project experience will be preferred;
  • Prior experience in a PCI-DSS compliant environment would be highly beneficial, or another highly regulated industry background;
  • Experience of monitoring tools specifically through CloudWatch and Opensearch.
