Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team at Bluefield. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in managing the financial aspects of our Italian operations.

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of Revive, a portion of the Italian SPV's, and providing support to the Finance manager to ensure compliance with all statutory reporting deadlines and tasks.

This includes daily financial management, general ledger maintenance, monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAPs, as well as active management of Revive accounting and tax compliance.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the financial audit of SPVs, responding to requests from external auditors, and working closely with the Fund Controller and outsourced accountants to prepare management and year-end statutory accounts.

In addition, the Senior Financial Controller will provide input and support on external debt compliance, budgets, and forecasting, as well as variance reporting when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance of core finance tasks
  • Assist with Finance Due Diligence on potential acquisitions
  • Support the integration of new project acquisitions
  • Work as part of a team to ensure delivery of key workstreams and to deadline

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and fluent in English, with Spanish or any additional language being considered a plus.

Benefits:

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plan.

Working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to other offices or locations as required.
