Sanitation Technician

The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling daily and nightly cleaning activities to meet established standards. This role will ensure all plant equipment is clean and safe for production, adhering to sanitation, GMP, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage plant sanitation procedures, programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation activities according to Master Sanitation Schedules.
- Monitor the Chemical storage and dispense the appropriate concentration for cleaning activities.
- Receive and track sanitary and chemical inventory.
- Monitor sanitation team in the use of chemicals and proper safety procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years sanitation experience in the food-industry preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and basic knowledge of HACCP, BRC food safety, and GMP principles.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and meet established goals and objectives.
