Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled IT ERP Finance Business Analyst & Solution Senior Specialist to join our team at Vodafone. As a key member of our SAP Centre of Expertise, you will be responsible for assessing customer business requirements and providing solution design throughout applications that support ERP Finance business processes.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a liaison between business functions and the SAP IT Developer team
  • Managing SAP SW enhancement life-cycle
  • Interacting with project teams during analysis and implementation of functional enhancements as well as resolution of defects during testing
  • Managing assigned projects to achieve business requirements within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Supporting IT Application Operation Service (Incident, problem) activities, guiding and conducting analysis to fix issues
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in working in SAP accounting modules (FI-CO), integration points with other SAP modules (SD,...), or other applications, and customising. Familiarity with SAP implementation and testing, basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging, and experience in a full cycle SW implementation are also required. Additionally, experience designing and configuring SAP FI modules, demonstrated understanding of Application Life Cycle management principles, including service, release, and change management, and strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles are essential. Insightful understanding of business Finance processes and fluency in English are also necessary. Soft skills required include ability to structure and articulate complex and ambiguous issues, excellent communication skills, and experience in multi-cultural environments.
