Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Specialist to join our Diagnostics team at Sysmex Europe GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing scientific and technical support to our business units, customers, and key opinion leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Support: Collaborate with Business Line Managers and Marketing Managers to develop and implement scientific strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Clinical Studies: Plan, execute, and finalize clinical studies with customers to generate clinical value for our Diagnostics products.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and implement new ideas and opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with customers, including BLMs and Field Sales Representatives, to provide scientific support and promote our products.
  • Communication: Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, individually or in groups, and produce and update scientific presentations based on new clinical evidence.
  • Protocol Development: Develop and implement study protocols in collaboration with investigators and internal stakeholders.
  • Recruitment and Data Monitoring: Recruit investigators, monitor data, and lead the transformation from data to published scientific papers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's and/or master's degree in science (biology, biomedicine, or similar), with a master's degree in clinical studies being a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, database, and CRM systems.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of products and the IVD industry.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical department, ideally 2+ years in a similar position (Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate, or similar).
