Internship Opportunity

We are seeking talented students or new graduates to join our Central Supply Chain team at our Headquarters in Parma. As a key player in the team, you will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience and build expertise in the Purchasing area.

Project Overview

The purpose of this internship is to introduce you to Barilla by working alongside talented professionals to contribute to a challenging, exciting, and rewarding project in the Purchasing area. You will take part in the development and implementation of the Vendor Portal, a platform aimed at digitalizing and improving Barilla's relationship with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and guide suppliers in using the platform and verify the completeness of information entered into the platform;
  • Invite suppliers to use the platform and monitor their onboarding on the tool;
  • Be a reference point for, interact with, and train the buyers in using correctly the platform;
  • Develop reporting KPIs and monitor the progress of the project;
  • Coordinate the updates with the other business functions;
  • Analyse the problems happened to suppliers and buyers and suggest solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for students or new graduates with a strong academic background in Engineering, Economics & Management, Agronomy, Food Science & Technology, or similar studies. You should have excellent organizational skills, be fluent in English and Italian, and have a strong analytical and communication skills.
