About the Role

Hitachi Vantara Corporation is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team in Monselice. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, collaborating with engineers, management, and regulatory authorities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices, ensuring a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of workplace injuries, illnesses, and absences, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of implementing effective HSE programs and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, management, and regulatory authorities.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian languages, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective solutions.
