We are seeking a Coating Engineer to join our Industrial Coating team based in Rome. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with project teams, process, procurement, construction, and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
  • Elaborating insulation and painting summaries for both piping and equipment;
  • Issuing all technical documentation and price schedules for insulation, painting, fireproofing, and refractory lining subcontracts;
  • Analyzing offers from subcontractors and performing technical bid tabulation;
  • Reviewing all vendors' documentation;
  • Adhering to committed man-hours and budget;
  • Meeting quality and HSE objectives of the project;
  • Interfacing with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions.

You will have the opportunity to participate in technical meetings with clients or suppliers, move to other Technip Energies operating centers, and join our colleagues overseas. You will also have the opportunity to follow up on engineering activities related to protective coatings, insulation, fireproofing, and refractory linings directly on our sites, supporting erection activities.

We are looking for a candidate with a Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering Master's Degree, with 0-3 years of experience as a coating engineer, fluent in English and Italian, and with a continuous improvement mindset.
