Job Title: Senior Editor - Content Specialist

Job Summary:

The Senior Editor - Content Specialist will work closely with the Managing Editor or Director of Editorial to ensure the quality and accuracy of content across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of editorial principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and copy edit content, including print and digital materials, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Verify data and facts to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and project managers to ensure seamless content production.
  • Manage multiple projects and client editorial styles simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain brand style guidelines to ensure consistency across all content.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition.
  • Excellent spelling, proofreading, copy editing, and fact-checking skills.
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat and ProofHQ.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
